The Colony at Apple Valley
Atascadero, CA

Situated on 28 acres just south of the Del Rio Rd exit in Atascadero, The Colony at Apple Valley by Moresco includes 70 modest-sized lots and 2 open spaces, 1 acre and 1.7 acres. The individual lots had to be graded for drainage and stubbed out for utilities. The on-site street improvements included extensive detailed work such as underground storm drain, sewer, water, and utility placement. Above ground, grading plans and profiles were needed to assure proper drainage to the gutters and storm drains. The Colony at Apple Valley presented challenges like 23% slopes in some areas while other areas required a sewer lift station since the flow wasn't in the right direction.
Paso Terrace Subdivision
Paso Robles, CA

The Paso Terrace Subdivision includes 21 lots on 17 acres just off of Vine Street near 34th Street in Paso Robles. The project details included utilities for all on-site street improvements. Once the project was conceptualized, a booster pump station and generator would have to be added. This entails a whole new building to encapsulate the pump station structure, grading to allow the water to drain away from the new building, details and specifications for the booster pump station and the underwater generator.
